Incumbent candidates will be expected to - Set up the laboratory and equipment, and collaborate with scientists in academic institutions (India and in the US) as required to advance research activities in a fast-paced start up environment Apply printed electronics related technologies for trans-dermal drug delivery and device development Develop an in-depth understanding of printed electronics and strive to develop simple and cost-effective solutions and medical devices to commercialize iTrace developed technologies Apply strong analytical skills and good sense of judgment (in the absence of extensive experimental data) to direct research with vision and create value Provide guidance to the company’s commercial vision based on lab discoveries Work effectively as an independent researcher and as a collaborator in a highly interdisciplinary environment Deliver on time-sensitive goals and make scientific presentations to the investors on the progress being made, while keeping the bigger picture in mind Document the experimental data carefully and file invention disclosures on significant scientific discoveries to generate intellectual property/patents DO YOU HAVE IT? Mandatory Qualifications A Ph.D. in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering/Materials Science or any related field preferably with post-doctoral/industrial research experience Good work ethics and excellent/creative problem solving skills Hands on experience with synthesis and materials characterization techniques Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team and ability to assume leadership responsibilities An ability and desire to work in an entrepreneurial and innovation-driven work environment Desirable Qualifications Previous experience in printed electronics and/or related fields A good understanding of trans-dermal drug delivery, iontophoresis and medical devices Experience in developing inorganic formulations/coatings, printing methods and familiarity with various inorganic and organic electronic materials Basic understanding of electrochemistry, knowledge of electrochemical devices and electrical measurements       iTrace Nanotech Pvt.
